DUNLOP makes history as the first Presenting Partner of the Goodwood Revival
As Presenting Partner, DUNLOP will establish a strong on-site presence, including a VIP area for 60 guests right by the pit lane, as well as a 600-square-metre exhibition stand showcasing the tyre range and the brand’s history. This will be complemented by extensive branding across the entire Goodwood Motor Circuit.
Furthermore, DUNLOP will present the Revival’s prestigious headline race: the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) TT Celebration.
This year, the most significant race on the Goodwood calendar will bring together stars including four-time Indy 500 winner Hélio Castroneves (2001, 2002, 2009, and 2021), as well as Formula 1 World Champions Jacques Villeneuve (1997) and Jenson Button (2009), who will compete wheel-to-wheel. This one-hour, two-driver race for closed-cockpit GT cars and selected prototypes revives the golden era of the Goodwood Motor Circuit and serves as the highlight of the race weekend.
The historic motorsport event, taking place this year from Friday, 18th September to Sunday, 20th September, will be held under the name „Goodwood Revival presented by DUNLOP“ and marks the return of the 137-year-old tyre manufacturer to the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit.
DUNLOP was already one of the original sponsors of the Goodwood Motor Circuit when the track was opened in 1948 by the current Duke’s grandfather, Freddie March, the 9th Duke of Richmond. DUNLOP remained a significant partner at Goodwood during the 1950s and 1960s, including a presence on grandstands and pit buildings. Since the resumption of racing in 1998 as part of the Goodwood Revival, the DUNLOP logo has also continuously adorned the tyre sidewalls of legendary racing vehicles.
